Since starting his career in 2003, he has helped organisations build practical, scalable, and business-focused data capabilities that turn data into trusted insights and measurable business value.

Throughout his career, Melvin has led major data transformation initiatives across industries including hospitality, retail, energy, manufacturing, consulting, and spatial analytics. His experience includes building data teams from the ground up, modernising enterprise data platforms, implementing single customer view capabilities, improving data quality, enabling self-service analytics, and applying AI and machine learning to solve real business problems.

With a background in Commerce and Computer Science, Melvin brings a strong balance of technical expertise and commercial understanding. He is able to connect business strategy with data and technology execution, helping organisations design solutions that are not only technically sound, but also practical, cost-effective, and aligned to business outcomes.
